The National Secretariat for Public Security will be holding, in 13 rd to 15 th june 2007 in Rio de Janeiro the Pan-American Seminar on Community Police and Citizen Security with the aim of getting to know and discussing national and international successful experiences in the application of the philosophy of community police and citizen safety to encourage initiatives and ongoing projects in Brazil.
The event also aims to serve as a forum for discussion involving the organized civil society, scholars and public authorities involved in public security.
